Nurse Navigator: Advocate and Guide
Making health decisions can be challenging, but navigating our healthcare system shouldn’t be. Through WE — Women Enlightened for Better Health, you will be paired with a nurse navigator who will serve as your central point of healthcare communications. Your nurse navigator will:
- Assist members in establishing a primary care physician and obtaining referrals to SHMC specialists and services, when necessary. Our nurse navigator will also help you schedule appointments and routine health screenings.
- Provide health education on medical conditions and treatments.
- Keep you informed about services, facilities and events offered by Summerlin Hospital Medical Center.
- Provide support during stressful health events.
