Please call 702-233-7542 or 702-233-7186 with your non-emergency questions. We may be able assist you or we will refer you to a lactation professional in your area.

Call for additional instruction and support if you have:

  • Difficulty with latch-on
  • Pain with breastfeeding
  • Concern about milk supply

Or, if your baby:

  • Is not gaining weight quickly (3/4 – 1 oz. per day)
  • Is supplementing with a bottle and you want to exclusively breastfeed
  • Feeds “all the time”
  • Is jaundiced
  • Cries a lot and is fussy
  • Spits up “a lot”

Caution: These numbers are not monitored 24/7. Therefore, if you have an emergency, go to the emergency department. You may call your child’s pediatrician or a private practice lactation professional if you need assistance sooner than we can provide. If you need help finding a pediatrician, please call our Physician Referral Line at 702-388-4888.

Please refer to the Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition’s website for a list of lactation professionals who can serve your needs outside of the hospital.
