Prepared Childbirth Education

Plan to attend this comprehensive 6-hour childbirth education class. This series of classes is taught in 2-hour blocks over three weeks. This class is tailored for firsttime parents or for parents who have not had a child in several years. Topics covered include labor and delivery, pain management, basic breathing and relaxation techniques, cesarean birth, postpartum and what to expect from a newborn.

NOTE: You should take this class in your seventh or eighth month of pregnancy. Space is limited so be sure to register during your fifth or sixth month so that you can reserve the class of your choice.

Participants must register for this class a minimum of three weeks in advance, in order to reserve space. To register for the Childbirth Education class please call (702) 233-7103. Individuals will need to bring their payment to class.
