Childbirth Basics

This four-week class is taught in two-hour sessions and is tailored to first-time parents. Topics include labor and delivery, pain management, basic breathing and relaxation techniques, unplanned Caesarean birth, postpartum and newborn care. There will be a BirthPlace tour at the end of the last class.

Register: Please register at least three weeks in advance to reserve your spot
Payment: Bring payment to class.
Location: Summerlin Hospital, Medical Office Building, Tower 1, Conference Room (ground floor)
Cost: $100 per couple. Maximum 22 couples per class
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Express Birth

This class is for couples who have limited time for a childbirth class but want to get the basic information. This three-hour class will cover the basics of labor and pain management options. There will be a BirthPlace Tour at the end of class.

Location: Summerlin Hospital, Medical Office Building, Tower 1, Conference Room (ground floor)
Cost: $50 per couple  Maximum 10 couples per class
Time: 5 to 8 p.m.
