Purpose & Intent
Summerlin Hospital Medical Center recognizes the valuable relationship between our facility and the news media.

We seek to balance this relationship on our ethical and legal responsibilities to provide quality care to our patients in an environment which safeguards privacy while preventing embarrassment, discomfort or exploitation and the news media’s responsibility to report matters of public interest.

Summerlin Hospital Medical Center is committed to assisting news outlets whenever possible through sincere cooperation and the accurate and prompt delivery of appropriate, relevant information.

Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and the Children's Medical Center seek to connect news outlets to expert healthcare sources and background information in an effort to promote the quality healthcare services available in southern Nevada.

Media inquiries should be directed to the Marketing/Public Relations Department by phone (702) 233-7545, or fax (702) 233-7911 during regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours and on weekends, marketing / public relations representatives are on call and can be reached by contacting the main hospital line and asking the operator for assistance at (702) 233-7000.
