Rehabilitation Program

Rehabilitation Summerlin Hospital Medical Center offers a comprehensive Rehabilitation Program.

Patients can be treated while staying in the hospital's RehabCenter inpatient unit, or by appointment throughout the week at the Outpatient Therapy Center.

Summerlin Hospital's Rehabilitation Program is dedicated to helping patients reach their maximum potential through its comprehensive rehabilitative services. Those recovering from stroke, surgery or other disabling condition or injury can benefit from a continuum of care.

Outpatient Therapy Center

Outpatient Therapy CenterSummerlin Hospital Medical Center’s Outpatient Therapy Center provides another unique service to the community of Summerlin. Located in the hospital’s adjoining medical office building for convenient access, the center offers a full complement of services:

Under the supervised care of an experienced staff, the facility offers the latest in exercise equipment from bikes and upper cycles to weights and exercises.

The comprehensive outpatient program can help patients of all ages recover from surgery or injury, providing neurological, orthopedic and hand rehabilitation. “Whether we’re treating a student athlete recovering from a sports injury or an individual who has suffered a stroke, our team draws on the full resources the hospital provides to speed recovery,” said Kerrie Iannuccilli, PT, Director of Therapy Services at Summerlin Hospital. Benefiting from the hospital’s full array of services, the Outpatient Therapy Center is able to use departments within the hospital for additional patient resources, including nutrition counseling and social services.

“Our facility is equipped to help people work aggressively towards getting back to their daily routine,” said Iannuccilli.

The RehabCenter at Summerlin Hospital uses a patient and family centered interdisciplinary team approach. This approach emphasizes continuous interaction among the team members, including weekly team meetings and at least one patient/family conference with the team during each patient's stay.
