My OB told me I was going to have twins and they might be preemies. He also told me that he wanted me at Summerlin. He's on staff at three hospitals, but because of Summerlin's Level III NICU and their wonderful team, that was the only hospital he'd trust.
At 30 weeks, I started hard labor and spent four weeks in bed at Summerlin. You need a lot when you're in bed for four weeks and the nurses became great friends who took really good care of me.
I made it to 34 weeks. There were a lot of people in that delivery room — two doctors, the NICU team...My babies went right to NICU for six days.
Now my twins are in their terrible twos and they're fabulous!
I choose Summerlin with complete trust that I'm going to be taken care of. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.
